Been a couple of years but always enjoyed seeing history anywhere!
This little museum is worth a quick trip back in time. The jail is really cool and the historical sheriff's house connected to it is well restored and full of interesting artifacts. Knowledgeable guides give a great tour with a well presented history of Northern Michigan.
Beautiful garden behind the old jail. Lots of local history here.
